ok so that last post was pretty dark. honest... but dark. and not really keeping with my new years resolution.
so what's a newly divorced, workaholic and perhaps slightly anti-social flash developer to do when face to face with the dark shit? why... he thumbs his nose at his demons (or, wait, did i actually embrace them?) and isolates himself for a week and drinks lots of expensive wine while he works through the pain. of course. thwa! i spit at you, demons!
if(bottleOfReallyGoodWine == full){
the result? the completion of 2 client projects and a rethink of my portfolio site that i put the finishing touches on today. it was mostly borne from being sick of having something that was 4 years old, preachy and never updated associated with my professional life. now i can actually use my site for what it was meant to be used for... to keep me in work.
so now we have the new, slimmer, more utilitarian sensitiveartist. nothing unnecessary - a little about me, a gallery of my work with links to the live projects and a simple mailto for contacting me.
glad to have that done and off my plate.
maybe tomorrow i'll actually step outside.
